South Korea has begun producing the first domestically manufactured components for the country's Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehiclesUAVs.
Firstec, and Korea Jig and Fixtures, are building parts for Korea's four Global Hawks, according to a Northrop Grumman news release. Firstec makes wire harnesses and KJF manufactures build-to-print aerospace-grade precision machine parts for the UAV.
The Korean Global Hawks are currently being built at Northrop Grumman facilities in the United States.
