Drone Aviation has been awarded a contract to support the Army's Blimp in a Box system.
"The aerostat related equipment includes lighter than air (LTA) helium based aerial assets which will be utilized to support ongoing solider training and operations," said a Drone Aviation news release.
"As the systems continue to operate in tough tactical environments we will push to enhance the capabilities on the BiB and WASP systems, including new sensor packages and long range wireless capabilities, to further support their requirements," said Drone Aviation CEO Felicia Hess.
