Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $60.9 million contract to support the Navy's Broad Area Maritime Surveillance – Demonstrator (BAMS-D) UAV program.
Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide operations and maintenance services for BAMS-D, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. BAMS-D is currently testing the RQ-4 Triton UAV.
The work will be performed in Maryland and California, and is scheduled to continue until June 2016. Naval Air Systems Command issued the contract.
