Drone Aviation Corp. has developed an integrated wireless system for aerostats.

The system allows Army ground monitors and mobile devices to access secure video footage from Drone Aviation's Blimp in a Box mobile aerostat, according to a Drone Aviation news release.

The newly integrated wireless system was installed and flown for several days on a BIB [Blimp in a Box] aerostat to demonstrate the effectiveness of distributing secure, live video feeds from a tactical aerostat directly to ground based mobile devices such as OSRVTs (One System Remote Video Terminals) and ROVER (Remote Operations Video Enhanced Receiver) systems currently deployed with US ground forces, according to the company.
