Navy awards $13M network emulator contract

Scalable Network Technologies, Inc. has been awarded a $13.1 million Navy contract to support a network emulator.

Under the five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, Scalable will provide support, maintenance and enhancement of the Joint Network Emulator (JNE) software, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

"JNE is a scalable modeling capability that supports the real-time emulation of large communication networks that comprise current and future force communication devices," the Navy said.
