Advanced Technology Systems Company has been awarded a $64.1 million contract to provide border security sensors for Egypt.

Under the Foreign Military Sales contract, Advanced Technology Systems will provide Egypt with “a mobile surveillance sensor security system to support the Egyptian Border Guard mission to protect Egypt’s national borders,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. The work will be performed at ATSC subsidiary STARA Technologies Corp. in Gilbert, Ariz.

Delivery is scheduled to be completed by August 2019. The contract was awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
