CACI has been awarded a contract to support the Army's night vision program.
Under the two-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, which has a maximum value of $47 million, CACI will support the Army's Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate, or NVESD, which is part of Research, Development and Engineering Command's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center.
More specifically, CACI will assist NVESD's Unique Mission Cell in identifying and developing technologies for tactical commands.
"CACI will offer engineering and other technical services to tactical commands worldwide, which perform broad, continuous missions," the company said.
CACI will also offer NVESD and the command and control elements program management, rapid response capabilities and staff support for delivering new intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies, as well as provide related support to headquarters and command and control elements.
