Lockheed Martin and Advanced Electronics Company have opened the first Sniper advanced targeting pod support center outside the U.S.
The Sniper ATP Expanded Repair Capability center is located in Saudi Arabia. The facility is part of an existing offset agreement between the Saudi Arabia Economic Offset Committee and Lockheed Martin, according to a Lockheed Martin news release.
"Due to its in-Kingdom [Saudi Arabia] location, the center helps expedite repair times, improving fleet readiness." Lockheed Martin said. "It also generates in-Kingdom employment opportunities and expands the local manufacturing base."
