KEYW has sold its first KeyRadar product.
KEYW was awarded a $6.7 million Air Force contract to mount KeyRadar in an MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicleUAV. KeyRadar is a multi-mission, multi-mode radar system built on software-defined radio/radar architecture.
The company was also awarded a $4.4 million Air Force Research Laboratory contract to develop "a next-generation multi-INT, plug-and-play pod that enables the Air Force to rapidly reconfigure sensor suites in the field," said a KEYW news release.
