Israeli firm Elbit Systems has won a $54 million contract to supply and maintain advanced electro-optics systems, from Israel's Ministry of Defense, according to the company. The company's announcement offered no details about the specific systems to be provided, but the company offers a variety of laser systems, thermal imaging, heads-up displays and other electro-optics technologies.

Elbit Systems Electro-Optics — Elop Ltd., will execute the contract.

Elbit is also known for other military technology, including UAVs, ISR and electronic warfare.
