The global military radar will reach $13 billion by 2020, according to a forecast by market research firm MarketsandMarkets. This reflects a compound annual growth rate of 3.42 percent from the $11 billion market in 2015.
Ground-based radars will experience the fastest growth, according to the forecast. X- and Ku-band radars will have the fastest growth in the military market. "Increased concerns regarding airborne fire control, surveillance, ground mapping, early warning, air traffic control (ATC), and so on are driving the demand for military radars across the globe," the report said.
North America will remain the biggest military radar market.
