Industry could play a greater role in GEOINT, according to Robert Cardillo, director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
During a speech in late January at the Intelligence and National Security Alliance leadership dinner, Cardillo suggested GEOINT organizations collaborate to improve the flow of geospatial information, according to a report in ExecutiveGov. They also can use NGA's Geospatial Solutions Marketplace portal to share ideas with the agency, he said.

"With our new focus on consequence and NGA's great legacy of public service, I have been encouraging NGA to become even more transparent," he said in his speech.
