Engility Corp. has been awarded a $9.4 million contract modification to perform additional electronic warfare services for U.S. Navy and Australian aircraft.

The additional work covers Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowler, the Boeing EA-18G Growler, Northrop Grumman E-2C Hawkeye, Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk, Broad Area Maritime Surveillance unmanned aircraft like the Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton, the Boeing P-8A aircraft, UAVs, flight simulators, training systems and other electronic warfare projects.

“Services to be provided include systems engineering, in-service hardware and software engineering, intelligence data analysis, test and evaluation, EW systems development, threat analysis, threat defeat, mission planning and EW data development,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

“EW weapons systems modifications include weapon system software, on-call field engineering analysis, test and evaluation, studies and analysis, threat analysis and sensor intelligence mission data files, jammer techniques development and logistics for distribution of operational flight programs.”

The work is scheduled to be completed by September 2018.
