Northrop Grumman has been awarded a DISA contract for encryption devices.

The five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with a maximum value of $99.9 million, for KGV-72 Type I Programmable Inline Encryption Devices (PIEDs), according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The devices "will provide the ability to process classified messaging traffic via the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) program," the Department of Defense said.
