NovAtel awarded Navy GPS anti-jamming contract

NovAtel has won a Navy contract for GPS anti-jamming technology.

NovAtel was selected by the United States Naval Observatory to provide its GPS Anti-Jam Technology (GAJT) to satisfy a requirement for a controlled reception pattern antenna capability at sites throughout the Department of Defense Information Network, according to a company news release. This brings the total number of GAJT antennas ordered by the Navy to more than 600.

GAJT is a null-forming antenna system that can be installed on land, air and sea platforms, including unmanned aerial vehicles.
