Marines order more aviation C2 systems

General Dynamics C4 Systems has been awarded a $9.1 million Marine Corps contract modification for additional aviation command and control systems.

Under the contract option, General Dynamics will provide an additional five Common Aviation Command and Control System limited deployment units (CAC2S LDU), according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. This brings the total number of units ordered to nine.

The contract is scheduled to be completed by September 2017.
