Mercury Systems has been awarded a $7.1 million Navy electronic warfare contract.

Under the indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ), Mercury will supply radio frequency tuners and digital receivers for AN/SLQ-32(V)6 electronic countermeasure systems on Navy and Coast Guard ships, according to a company news release.

"This contract reaffirms Mercury's leading-edge capabilities in RF, digital signal processing and data movement," said Charlie Hudnall, general manager of Mercury's embedded sensor products division. "Our array of RF, microwave and mixed-signal offerings deliver ultra-fast tuning, high dynamic range, and extreme data processing - all critical elements of electronic warfare support measures."
