Harris Corp. has won a $55 million contract to support Australian military radios.

The contract calls for Harris to support the company's radios used by the Australian Defense Force. "Harris will provide maintenance, training, warehouse and distribution, and engineering support under a turnkey, performance-based contracting model to support the Joint Project 2072 Battlespace Communications program," said a company news release.

Australia uses Harris Falcon III multiband, multi-mode radios in manpack, handheld and vehicular configurations for wideband tactical networking capabilities, according to the announcement.
